Great hiking location in Bolton.
Bower Spring is a conservation area in Bolton, MA. It is a great place to walk with your dog (even off leash). Most trails are wide and easy to walk. There is a large pond with clear water and a sandy area where your dog can swim and chase sticks. Everything is surrounded by beautiful woods and meadows. It was a bit hard to find using Bower Springs for the search topic, but if you use Flanagan Road in Bolton it takes you right there.
One of my favorite places to take my dog. Swimming, interconnected trails to other parts of the Bolton and Harvard trail systems and lots of dogs for my boy to play with. Because of the connected trails, it's a great place to run including trail running.
Beautiful peaceful park with several calm ponds full of lily pads and a pair of beavers lives here, so cool! They were swimming around doing beaver things which made us look up *what do beavers eat?* it's bark, they eat bark, then we rounded a corner of the trail and there is a beaver, sitting on a log of a tree he clearly chewed down, eating the bark off a twig like corn on the cob. 10/10 hope to come back in the spring maybe there will be baby beavers!
